Still Trying to Get a Letter for the Family Court

According to Nova Scotia Legal Aid lawyer Susan’s stipulation in my and the mother of my child (Erin’s) latest Court Order, I need a letter from a psychiatrist that provides a report on my mental health before I can make any further application to the Family Court. The last letter I received was from Dr. Nelson and Myth Nimson in January 2018. That letter is too old. I need one that is no older than three months. I received Dr. Potlick’s NCR report in Oct. 2018. That is also too old, although I doubt it would help me anyway. I’ve been speaking to my current family matter lawyer, whom I’ll call Billy Smith, since late Jan. 2019. Currently, there is nothing we can do to move forward until I get a recent letter. I have been speaking to my family doctor since July 2019 to connect me with another psychiatrist (other than Dr. Nelson), but that is still in limbo. I will be meeting with her again on Nov. 8.
